From January 2, 2026, the European Parliament will change its parking reservation system for external users. The current IZIX application will be replaced by a new platform called CarPark. Users can begin making reservations through CarPark for parking starting January 5, 2026, at both Brussels and Strasbourg locations.

User data from the IZIX app will be automatically transferred to CarPark if profiles are complete with a mobile phone number, license plate number, and email address. “If your profile is complete (mobile phone number, licence plate number, email address), no action will be required on your part for this transfer,” according to the official announcement. Users with incomplete profiles will receive an email requesting them to update their information.

Those who do not wish their account information to be transferred can request deletion by emailing [email protected] before December 18, 2025. Otherwise, starting December 28, 2025, users will get an official message from CarPark asking them to finalize their account by creating a new password. This step is necessary to use the new application.

For individuals who have not previously registered for access to Parliament’s parking in Brussels or Strasbourg but wish to do so, the registration process remains unchanged. They should send an email with personal details such as name, email address, user category (such as Media), license plate number if known in advance, mobile phone number (required for security reasons), requested period and schedule, and EP location (Brussels – Luxembourg – Strasbourg) to [email protected]. After submitting this information, they will receive a link to access the CarPark application.
