European Parliament spokespersons will hold a press briefing ahead of the plenary session scheduled for November 12-13. The briefing will take place on Wednesday, November 12 at 14:30 in the Anna Politkovskaya press room in Brussels and can also be accessed online via Interactio.
The agenda for this week’s plenary includes several key topics. These are a debate on the results of the October EU summit with Presidents Costa and von der Leyen, a vote on due diligence and sustainability reporting requirements, as well as a debate on the new Multiannual Financial Framework for 2028-2034 with President von der Leyen. Other items include discussion and voting on the EU’s 2040 climate target, a debate on the first annual European asylum and migration report, consideration of the EU’s 2025 gender equality strategy, and a vote regarding proxy voting during pregnancy and after childbirth.
Interpretation services for the press briefing will be provided in English and French. The event can be followed live from 14:30 through Parliament’s webstreaming service or EbS, in addition to attending in person at the Brussels press room.
